It is your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate documentation to enter Canada. Passports are mandatory for entry to Canada. If you do not have the proper identification necessary or if you are refused entry for any reason, Dong Phuong Distributors cannot be held responsible. A piece of photo ID will be collected during check-in at the Rimrock Resort Hotel.
Insurance is not provided as part of the 45th Anniversary Banff Experience but will be available for purchase if required with more information available during registration. A minimum coverage of 'emergency medical out of country' insurance is required for all participants. Your insurance details will be collected as part of your registration.
In July, Banff experiences its warmest and most pleasant weather of the year, with a mild mountain summer climate. July is also one of the sunniest months, with long daylight hours and generally dry conditions, although brief afternoon showers or thunderstorms can occur.
Typical daytime high temperatures range from about 20–24°C (68–75°F), while nighttime lows usually fall between 5–8°C (41–46°F). Because of the elevation in the Canadian Rockies, evenings can feel quite cool even in summer, so layers are recommended.
