Any guest invited to the ABCHI Club event must be over 18 in order to attend.

Pre and post trip extensions are welcomed and encouraged. Please indicate upon registration if you wish to extend your stay.  We will research the best flight schedules and you will only pay the difference in fare of a return ticket cost at the time of booking. We encourage you to register early for the best flight options and fares. You will be responsible for transportation to/from the hotel to/from the airport if you are not arriving/departing on the group dates.

Please Note: Only post stays are permitted at host hotel. Should you wish to travel to Italy prior to April 26, you are welcome to stay at an alternate hotel and check-in to VRetreats Donna Camilla Savelli Hotel on April 26.

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate documentation to enter Italy to return to Canada. If you do not have the proper identification necessary or if you are refused entry for any reason, A Buyer's Choice Home Inspections (ABCHI)  cannot be held responsible.  

Passports are mandatory for entry to Italy. Canadian citizens who wish to apply for a passport can visit the following site for Canadian passport information.

Canadian Landed Immigrants will require a Permanent Resident Card to return to Canada on a commercial aircraft. For further information or an application, please contact 1-888-242-2100 or www.cic.gc.ca  

Please note the average high temperature in Rome, Italy at the time of our ABCHI Club trip is 18-21°C and the average low is 13-15°C. In late April, Rome is usually in full spring mode; mild, pleasantly warm days with plenty of sunshine, but still cool in the mornings and evenings.   

Welcome Reception – Relaxed But Put Together
Casual is fine, just skip the travel sweats and gym shorts. Think nice jeans, collared shirts, blouses, that kind of thing. Comfortable but like you made a bit of effort.

Awards Dinner – Formal - Your Night to Shine!
This is the big night. Dress your best. Suits, dresses, whatever you feel great in. It's a formal event and a chance to celebrate properly, so show up looking sharp.

Rome, Italy is on the Central European Summer Time (CEST)(UTC +2) at the time of the ABCHI trip.

You will need a power adaptor in Rome. There will be an adaptor in your room. However, if you are extending, you will need a plug adaptor, specifically Type C and Type F outlets (230 V, 50 Hz). Most electronics are dual voltage and only need an adaptor, but non-dual-voltage items like hairdryers will also require a converter.

Local currency is the Euro (EUR). All major credit cards are widely accepted. Foreign currency can be exchanged at your local bank before the trip or at a local bank in Rome. It is recommended to use your local bank as they will have better conversion rates.

Gratuities are included with any of the group events, however, should you wish to leave a tip for any service staff outside of group events, they are always greatly appreciated.

The hotel will maintain an incidental account to cover your personal expenses such as shop purchases, spa or salon services etc., which are not included in the program. Please make sure you settle this account prior to checking out. Major credit cards and cash are accepted forms of payment and a credit card imprint will be collected at check-in. Personal cheques will not be accepted.  

Insurance is not provided as part of the ABCHI Club trip but will be available for purchase if required. A minimum coverage of emergency medical out of country insurance is required for all participants. We highly recommend purchasing full trip interruption and cancellation insurance. Your insurance details will be collected as part of your registration. 

The ABCHI Club trip is non-refundable. If you must cancel up until the day of the trip for unforeseeable, extenuating circumstances, please contact Kelly MacDonald at 902-476-1404. You will be responsible for any non-refundable costs incurred by ABCHI for any award winner (and guest) initiated changes or cancellations after ABCHI Club registration.

The ABCHI Club trip trip must be accepted as offered, has no cash value and is valid only for the dates and location specified.  If you cannot attend, please advise as soon as possible, so it may be awarded to the next winner.
