Should you wish to extend or alter your travel arrangements, please email kmacdonald@fh-incentives.ca; and every effort will be made to accommodate your request.  An extension would be at your individual expense and is based on availability. 

A qualifying guest is defined as a significant other or common-law significant other as outlined in this CRA link.

Pre and post trip extensions are welcomed and encouraged.  Please indicate upon registration if you wish to extend your stay.  We will research the best flight schedules and you will only pay the difference in fare of a return ticket cost at the time of booking.  We encourage you to register early for the best flight options and fares.  You will be responsible for transportation to/from the hotel and to/from the airport if you are not arriving/departing on the group dates. 

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate documentation to enter Spain and to return to Canada. If you do not have the proper identification necessary or if you are refused entry for any reason, People Corporation cannot be held responsible.  

Passports are mandatory for entry to Spain. Canadian citizens who wish to apply for a passport can visit the following site forCanadian passport information (link will open in a new window).  

Canadian Landed Immigrants will require a Permanent Resident Card to return to Canada on a commercial aircraft. For further information or an application, please contact 1-888-242-2100 or www.cic.gc.ca  

Please note the average high temperature in Marbella at the time of the Elevate Club program is 21°C and the average low is 11°C .   

The dress code for the Elevate Club program is generally casual comfort throughout the day. The awards dinner will require appropriate attire. As the weather can fluctuate at this time of the year it is always best to have a jacket or light sweater with you.  

  • Return airfare from your home city to Marbella, Spain for your trip dates of April 29 - May 3, 2024;

  • Return transfers (on group dates) from airport to hotel;

  • 4 nights accommodation based on double occupancy at Puente Romano hotel;

  • Elevate Club Welcome reception;

  • Lunches on April 30 & May 1

  • Optional activity on April 30;

  • Group excursion visiting Ronda on May 1;

  • Elevate Club Awards dinner;

  • Elevate Club Farewell dinner.

  • Personal shopping or items of a personal nature (additional excursions and food and beverage not included in program inclusions);  
  • Any travel outside of program dates;  
  • Any changes to flight itineraries after initial booking, flight upgrades, cost differences of flights if extending;
  • Food and beverage outside the included breakfasts & Elevate Club dinners and receptions listed above;
  • Activities and excursions not outlined in the conference itinerary; 
  • Car rental;  
  • Extension arrangements;
  • Travel insurance of any kind, including medical and baggage;  
  • Incidental expenses / personal gratuities;  
  • Medical services;  
  • Spa services;  
  • Anything not specifically listed as an inclusion.  

Marbella is on Central European Summer Time (CEST) time zone at the time of the Elevate Club trip.

The voltage is 230V, so adapters and converters are required.  There is a North American outlet in the hotel room for phone charging. 

Local currency is the Euro.  It is a good idea to have some Euros on hand as exchange rates are more favorable when purchased in advance in Canada. All major credit cards are widely accepted. Foreign currency can be exchanged at the front desk and at local banks.  

Gratuities are included with any of the group events, however, should you wish to leave a tip for any service staff outside of group events, they are always greatly appreciated.   

The hotel will maintain an incidental account to cover your personal expenses such as shop purchases, spa or salon services, etc., which are not included in the program. Please make sure you settle this account prior to checking out. Major credit cards, cash and travelers' cheques are accepted forms of payment and a credit card imprint will be collected at check-in. Personal cheques will not be accepted.  

Insurance is not provided as part of the Elevate Club trip but will be available for purchase if required. A minimum coverage of 'emergency medical out of country' insurance is required for all participants. Your insurance details will be collected as part of your registration. 

The Elevate Club trip in non-refundable. If you must cancel on the day of the trip for unforeseeable, extenuating circumstances, please contact Kelly MacDonald at 902-476-1404.  You will be responsible for any non-refundable costs incurred by People Corporation for any qualifier (and guest) initiated changes or cancellations after Elevate Club registration.

The Elevate Club trip must be accepted as offered, has no cash value and is valid only for the dates and location specified.  If you cannot attend, please advise as soon as possible, so it may be awarded to the next qualifier.
