In February, St. Maarten enjoys one of its best weather periods of the year as it falls within the dry season.

Temperatures are warm and comfortable, typically ranging from about 24°C to 29°C (75°F to 84°F) during the day, with evenings staying pleasantly mild. Humidity is lower at this time of year, and steady trade winds help keep conditions comfortable, especially along the coast and beaches.

Rainfall in February is generally low, with only brief, light showers if any. Most days are sunny and clear. Sea temperatures are also inviting, usually around 26°C (79°F), making it excellent for swimming, snorkeling, and boat excursions.

As the weather can fluctuate at this time of the year it is always best to have a jacket or light sweater with you.

St. Maarten is on the Atlantic Standard Time zone (UTC−4) all year.

The voltage is the same as home, so adapters and converters are not required.

The official currency used in St. Maarten is the Netherlands Antillean guilder (ANG). However, the US dollar (USD) is widely accepted throughout the island and is commonly used in hotels, restaurants, shops, and for excursions. Many prices in tourist areas are actually quoted directly in USD, and credit cards are also broadly accepted.

Gratuities are included with your all inclusive package, however, should you wish to leave a tip for any service staff, they are always greatly appreciated.

The resort will maintain an incidental account to cover your personal expenses such as shop purchases, spa or salon services etc., which are not included in the program. Please make sure you settle this account prior to checking out. Major credit cards and cash are accepted forms of payment and a credit card imprint will be collected at check-in. Personal cheques will not be accepted.
