Carcross

As a group the Ricoh Winner’s Summit attendees and guests will travel to Carcross with stops at the famous Emerald Lake for beautiful photo opportunities as well as visiting the Carcross Desert touted as the “smallest desert in the World”. In Carcross, you will explore the village and have time to peruse their local indigenous art shops and learn about the Klondike Goldrush and its impact on Carcross. We will enjoy lunch at the Haa Shagóon Hídi cultural center with local food and entertainment.

Fish Lake Hike

This scenic hike trail starts at Fish Lake, 30 minutes out of Whitehorse. You will hike up to a ridge in Alpine Meadows with stunning landscapes, lakes, and mountains. The entire tour, including driving, takes about 3 - 3.5 hrs. It is an easy hike through the traditional territory of the Kwanlin Dun First National.

Yukon Wildlife Preserve

The Yukon Wildlife Preserve is a unique wildlife viewing property featuring 11 species of northern Canadian mammals in their natural environment. Encompassing over 700 acres with various natural habitats, the Yukon Wildlife Preserve offers unparalleled wildlife viewing and photo opportunities. The Preserve’s mission is to connect visitors to the natural world by being a living centre of Yukon’s species. You will have an opportunity to travel the 5 kilometer loop on foot or by mini-bus so you can see these beautiful animals up close and personal!
